Terms of sale
Booking in our family campsite Pech de Caumont assumes acceptance of the general conditions of sale described below.
Reservation
This contract is registered to a named person and is non transferable.
The reservation becomes definite after the deposit has been cashed and the reservation confirmed by camping Le Pech de Caumont.
Costs are as follows:
Rental accommodation: 30 % of the total holiday amount + reservation costs 12.50€
For a camping pitch: deposit of 37.50€ + reservation costs 12.50€
The reservation is carried out, as much as possible, in accordance with the wishes of the client and the capabilities of the campsite.
In accordance with article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right to withdrawal is not applicable to accommodation service contracts, which must be provided for a determined date or period.
Arrival – Departure
On the day of arrival the owner of the campsite will decide upon the definite pitch or lodging and will do his most to respect the wishes of the camper.
The client commits himself to follow the internal rules of the campsite (shown at the entrance of the campsite)
The pitch is ready for the client as of 12 am on the day of arrival until 12 am on the day of departure.
The accommodation must be vacated by 10 am on the morning of departure, unless prior permission has been given by the office. An inspection of the accommodation will be made prior to departure, a charge of 50€ will be made if the accommodation is considered not to be in a satisfactory clean state.
The rental accommodation is ready for the clients as of 4pm on the day of arrival until 10 am on the day of departure.
If you leave earlier than the reserved date, the deposit will not be deducted from the total amount of your stay.
If you cancel, arrive later or depart earlier, camping Le Pech de Caumont reserves the right to rent out the pitch again without any rembursement or compensation.
Late arrival
For a pitch on the campsite, invoicing will start on the first day of the reservation. As of the foreseen day of arrival, a pitch will be kept free for 48 hours. After that delay, we will re use the pitch. Costs and deposit will not be refunded.
In case of late arrival, the camper is strictly obliged to inform the campsite.
Cancellation and Cancellation Guarantee
Cancellation guarantee is not provided by the camping.
Payment
For a pitch on the campsite: the remaining amount of the holiday has to be paid on the day of arrival.
For the rental accommodation, the balance of the hire charge is payable on the day of arrival, together with a 300€ surety payment, which is refundable upon departure, following a satisfactory check of the accommodation and inventory. All damages or missing items must be paid for.
If the payment has not been settled, the lodging will be considered as cancelled and the paid deposit will be kept by camping.
If you reserve within 30 days before arrival, the total amount of the holiday has to be paid.
Rates
The prices shown are subject to change. The campsite reserves the right to modify the prices at any time. Each stay is invoiced according to the price in force on the day of the reservation, subject to availability. We recommend that you verify the applicable price by directly contacting the campsite.
Any ulterior modification of the applicable VAT rate which occurs between the establishment of the tarifs and the invoicing for the stay will result in a corresponding modification of the tax-inclusive price, which the client accepts without reserve.
The offers and promotions are not retroactive and may not be combined with other discounts.
Rental regulations for lodging
From mid June until the end of August rentals take place from Saturday till Saturday.
When hiring a mobile home or chalet, a guarantee of 300 € cash will be asked upon arrival which will be refunded on departure if everything is ok.
Complaints
Although camping Le Pech de Caumont will do everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, it can’t be held responsible for any exterior events that will reduce or cancel your stay.
Animals
Pets have to be kept on a lead, be tattooed and vaccinated. The vaccination passport is an obligation and has to be up to date.
Domestic animals are not allowed inside the accommodation.
Visitors
Must be authorised; their host is responsible for them and they have to present themselves at the reception desk upon arrival. Access to the swimming pool is forbidden for visitors.
Mediation of consumer disputes
In accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code concerning “the consumer dispute mediation process”, the client has the right to make use of the mediation service made available by Camping Le Pech de Caumont, free of charge. The “consumer rights” mediator proposed for this service is MEDICYS.
